More Russian aircraft to arrive in Syria

More Russian fighting aircraft are to arrive in Syria.
They will join the four Su-30’s that have already arrived in the Syrian city of Latakia.
The expected new arrivals include Su-24’s and Su-25’s.
U.S. media quoted American state secretary John Kerry as describing the increased Russian military presence in Syria as “force protection.”
“It is the judgement of our military and most experts that the level and type represents basically force protection,” said John Kerry.
Media reports have so far indicated some 500 Russian service people along with supporting personnel carriers also arrived in Latakia.
The first Russian shipment of military materials arrived at Latakia on September 12.
