More school bus operators exit market over high costs, declining demand

The Singapore School Transport Association said close to 10 bus operators went bust since February 2019. June was the worst, with at least five operators exiting the market. They faced challenges such as high costs, declining demand and complaints from parents over fee hikes. Earlier in July, the Education Ministry asked parents to provide feedback on ways to improve the school bus system.
