More than 40 people have been killed in a series of bombings in areas controlled by the government and Kurdish militia, according to Syrian state media. Three attacks took place on Monday morning in the government-held cities of Homs and Tartus and at the entrance to a town west of Damascus. There were also explosions in Kurdish-held Qamishli and Hasaka in the northeast.
