Mr Sim Kah Lim, the artist who for 35 years painted in obscurity from behind the walls of Singapore’s Institute of Mental Health, finally got his own gallery exhibition. And a very special sifu from his childhood, one of Singapore’s renowned pioneer artists Choo Keng Kwang, turned up.
