Murder suspect who sparked Hong Kong protests released from prison

The murder suspect whose case sparked more than four months of protests in Hong Kong has been released from prison. Chan Tong-kai served 18 months in jail for money laundering and is now a free man. The 20-year-old Hong Kong citizen was accused of murdering his girlfriend while on a holiday to Taiwan last year.
