Myanmar’s measles outbreak: Ethnic group claims not enough government support

A deadly measles outbreak has struck Myanmar’s northern Sagaing region, a remote and mountainous area. The government said the measles outbreak has taken the lives of 42 people. However, the Naga minority claims the death toll is around 60. The Naga ethnic group blames the government for not doing enough to control this measles outbreak. Measles remains to be one of the global leading causes of death, especially for young children.
