The Standing Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference National Committee gathered for a meeting in Beijing on Sunday, which was attended by its chairman Yu Zhengsheng. The committee decided to open the advisory body’s annual session on March 3.
The suggested agenda includes deliberating on the standing committee’s work report and a report on proposals from last year’s session.
During the annual session, members will also attend the annual session of the National People’s Congress to discuss a government work report, the draft of the 13th Five-year Plan on national economic and social development, and the draft law on charity.
