Nationwide protests one year after new law passed in Japan

Protests have taken place in Japan against a controversial security law following the one-year-anniversary of its enactment. Thousands gathered in the capital Tokyo and other locations across the country to protest the law which greatly expands the role of the Self-Defense Forces. Oppositional parties also joined in the protests, saying the legislation contravenes Japan’s pacifist postwar constitution. CCTV’s Terrence Terashima in Tokyo has more.
