NATO to provide Ukraine logistics, medical funds

NATO Secretary General Jen Stoltenberg has said the alliance will provide funding to Ukraine for logistics and medical rehabilitation. The proposal is expected to be endorsed at the NATO Summit in Warsaw in July. At a defense ministers’ meeting in Brussels, NATO accused Russia of repeatedly breaking the ceasefire in eastern Ukraine by continuing to arm rebels, while Russia sees NATO’s increasing military build-up as hostile, with President Vladimir Putin ordering spot checks on combat readiness in Russia’s armed forces.
