Nepal’s newly-elected Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, known as Prachanda, has begun a state visit to India, seeking to improve chilled ties, despite India being Nepal’s biggest trade partner. Prachanda has made India his first destination after returning to power. During his four-day trip, he plans to discuss the construction of a railway line that India will help build, giving landlocked Nepal better access to India’s ports.
