Netaji’s Broadcast On Peking Radio | Bose’s Family Letters Revealed

Analysis of one of the declassified files on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose has revealed that his kin believed that Netaji had perhaps tried to broadcast a message on the Peking Radio. Page 115 of File no. 51 mentions a letter written by Sisir Kumar Bose, son of Sarat Chandra Bose, addressed to his father. In the letter, Sisir tells his father that in November 1949, Peking Radio had announced that Subhas Chandra Bose would broadcast a message. The radio had also given details regarding the wavelength of the broadcast. The West Bengal Government yesterday declassified 64 files pertaining to Netaji.
