A new bicentennial-themed exhibition, An Old New World: From the East Indies to the Founding of Singapore 1600s-1819, would explore 200 years of history, stories and broader forces at play that culminated in the events of 1819. It would be opening on Sept 21 at The National Museum of Singapore. Mr Daniel Tham, curatorial lead at the museum, discussed more with CNA.
