New diet helps kids with genetic obesity

A Chinese research team has announced it has come up with a new therapy using a hard-to-digest diet to help people with Prader-Willi Syndrome control their calorie intake. The researchers from Shanghai Jiaotong University and the Guangdong Province Women and Children Care Hospital report that they can help treat the disorder by improving the bacteria in a patient’s gastrointestinal tract.
