New excavations in China reveal links to Confucius

The latest discovery at the ancient Haihunhou Cemetery dating back to the Han Dynasty has revealed that they might be a part of tribute to the Chinese philosopher Confucius. 15 tons of bronze coins, dedicated to Confucius, are among more than 10,000 items made of gold, bronze and iron, including cooking utensils, wine vessels, lamps, jade pieces, wood tablets, bamboo slips and even chariots discovered near Nanchang city, Jiangxi Province.
