New innovation hub in Singapore to help central banks embrace digital economy

A new innovation centre in Singapore aims to help central banks keep up with the digital revolution. It is a joint effort by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), which fosters cooperation among central banks of different countries. The BIS Innovation Hub will start with two projects — developing a digital infrastructure framework to help countries accelerate their digital efforts and connecting regulators with tech solution providers.
