Nigeria’s army rescues 178 people held by Boko Haram

Nigeria’s army says  that it has rescued 178 people held by Islamist militant group Boko Haram in northeast Nigeria’s Borno state on Sunday. An army spokesman said in an emailed statement that 101 of those freed were children, 67 were women and the rest were men.
