Nine killed as rainstorms hit China’s Hubei and Chongqing

Strong rain storms hit central China’s Hubei Province and southwest China’s Chongqing Municipality, with nine people dead, 12 missing, and over 880,000 affected by the rainfall which surpassed 200 millimeters and the floods it caused. Authorities are now searching for those missing and rescuing those who are trapped by the floods. According to the weather forecast, the rain will last until Tuesday.
