Nine people killed as Typhoon Lionrock hits Japan

At least nine people have been killed in floods, as Typhoon Lionrock hit Japan. Police recovered nine bodies on Wednesday in a nursing home near a river in the town of Iwaizumi, Iwate Prefecture. The building was partially buried in mud and debris when the river overflowed. The town issued an evacuation preparation notice on Tuesday morning.
