No casualties reported following 5.4-magnitude quake in southern China

Local authorities have reported no casualties after a 5.4-magnitude earthquake struck Cangwu County in southern China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The tremor caused damage to some houses near the epicenter, which was measured at a depth of 10 kilometers. 800 people were evacuated and some rail services were suspended as a precaution.
