North Korea expels BBC correspondent

North Korea announced on Monday that it had decided to expel a BBC correspondent and never allow him to enter the country again.

The correspondent, Rupert Wingfield Hayes, visited Pyongyang with a BBC filming crew for a coverage of the visit of three Nobel laureates to the North Korea for academic exchanges.

But he was accused by Pyongyang of disrespecting local customs, speaking ill of the leadership and assaulting the DPRK system.
