North Korea: one million volunteers want to join army

North Korea’s official news agency KCNA reported on Sunday that more than 1 million young people are petitioning to join the army.
According to the report, the number of young people asking to go to war is increasing by the hour.
That’s after Kim Jong Un, the North’s top leader, ordered the country’s frontline troops to enter a state of war on Friday.
Up to now, the state of war has not yet been lifted.
The South Korean military is also fully armed to deal with any provocations from the north.
The two Koreas held high-level emergency contact on Sunday at the truce village of Panmunjom inside the demilitarize zone.
The talks lasted 10 hours.
Both sides discussed ways of resolving the recent tensions and developing the inter-Korean relations.
