Obama makes historic visit to Hiroshima

On Friday, Barack Obama became the first serving United States president to visit Hiroshima, the first city ever hit by an atomic bomb. Obama spoke briefly with two atomic bomb survivors. For some it was clearly an emotional moment. A majority of Americans still view the bombings as unnecessary to end the Second World War. Most Japanese believe the use of an atomic weapon was unjustified.
