Crude oil prices rose in Asia after Russia and Saudi Arabia pledged to address the glut in the global supply. However, analysts say gains would likely be limited after the two sides disagreed on a production freeze. On the sidelines of the G20 Summit in China, Saudi Energy Minister Khaled Al-Falih and his Russian counterpart Alexander Novak said they would “act together” to set up a “joint monitoring group” to steady the market.
