Six wanted suspects have been returned to China from Indonesia, as part of an operation launched by the government to go after suspects who left China seeking refuge abroad.
Three of the fugitives are wanted by Interpol under Red Notice, including one surnamed Chen, who is suspected of contract fraud involving more than 1.6 million US dollars.
Chinese police also retrieved fund and property worth about 4.9 million dollars.
This is the first joint operation with Indonesian police in China’s operation “Fox Hunt 2015”.
Since the “Fox Hunt” started in April, 256 fugitives have been handed back to China from more than 30 countries and regions.
