Opposition welcomes postponement of IPCMC Bill readings
The Opposition bloc, consisting of BN, PAS and Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS), has welcomed the government’s decision to postpone the second and third readings of the Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission 2019 (IPCMC) Bill to the next Dewan Rakyat meeting in March.
Earlier, Minister in the PM’s Dept Datuk Liew Vui Keong said the Bill needs to be enhanced to allow for other rules pertaining to disciplinary proceedings to be tweaked.
