Rahul Gandhi, who visited Jantar Mantar in New Delhi today where ex-servicemen are staging a protest demanding implementation of OROP, was greeted by protesters raising slogans of “go back Rahul”. A group of ex-servicemen demanding ‘One Rank One Pension’ have been protesting here for the past two months. “Where was Rahul Gandhi for last 6 weeks. Why are we being pushed around if Rahul is here,” a protester said. “Don’t reduce a valid protest into a photo-op,” said another protester. Earlier this afternoon, ex-servicemen resisted eviction by the Delhi Police and NDMC from the protest site.
