Over 5,000 pregnant women in Colombia infected with Zika virus

Colombia’s national health institute is reporting that more than 5,000 pregnant women are infected with the mosquito-borne Zika virus. The government, however, has said that there are so far no reported cases of Zika-linked microcephaly in the country. It has also urged women to delay pregnancies for six to eight months.
