Over 70 killed in fighting between Syrian government forces and jihadists

Syria’s military has denied any involvement in air strikes on a camp for displaced people near the Syria-Turkish border, which killed at least 30 civilians. SANA news agency quoted the military as accusing rebels of targeting civilians. Meanwhile, rebels have seized the village of Khan Touman from government forces in southwest Aleppo. The attack was reportedly launched by an alliance of Islamist insurgents, including the al Qaeda-linked Al Nusra Front. Clashes between jihadist militants and the Syrian government forces left at least 73 people dead.
