Winds blowing through China are powerful enough to generate low-carbon electricity — and that can potentially “blow away” greenhouse gas emissions. With a current capacity of 75 gigawatts, China is the world’s largest producer of wind power. But why is the country still reliant on coal as its main power source with so much clean energy at its fingertips? Our reporter Guan Yang went to Liaoning Province to find out.
