“Pakistan has contradicted itself”, said Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Vikas Swarup when discussing two correspondences that Pakistan sent to the UN. “The first letter was written on September 4, which states that there was no bilateral dialogue. After that the BSF and Pak Rangers have already met. So the letter has itself contradicted itself that there is no dialogue as there has been a dialogue,” said Swarup. Pakistan also quoted a submission by Syed Salahuddin, a global terrorist in its correspondence to the UN, to which Swarup said India would, “Respond at an appropriate time”.
