Pakistan Investigation Team To Visit India – Pathankot Attack

Pakistan Prime Minister’s Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz met his Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj on sidelines of SAARC meeting in Pokhara in Nepal today. The two leaders discussed a range of issues between the two countries including cross-border terrorism from Pakistan, including the attack on Pathankot airbase in January this year. Following the meeting, the two foreign ministers issued a joint statement, in which they said a Pakistani investigation team would visit India on March 27 to probe the attack. Aziz also handed over to Swaraj an invitation from Sharif to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the South Association Association for Regional Cooperation (Saarc) summit scheduled to be held in Islamabad in November this year.
