Pakistan has observed a day of mourning for the victims of a deadly attack at a university in the northwest of the country on Wednesday. Flags on official buildings and the parliament were flying at half-staff. The attack happened as gunmen stormed the Bacha Khan University in the town of Charsadda on Wednesday. Police say the death toll from the assault rose to 21 on Thursday, after another student died in the hospital. A breakaway Taliban faction took responsibility for the attack.
