Even as BJP on Friday (July 10) said that Pakistan had accepted to combat terrorism ‘in all its form’, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif remained silent on TIMES NOW’s question on Pakistan’s idea of terror definition. In an hour-long meeting on the sidelines of SCO summit in Ufa, Russia, PM Narendra Modi reportedly managed to extract a commitment from Nawaz Sharif to expedite the trial of Mumbai terror attack accused underway in Pakistan, while Pak PM sought to keep the focus on discussions over all outstanding issues, including J&K. Pakistan also agreed to India’s demand on voice samples of some of the accused in the Mumbai terror attacks case. The BJP has termed the meeting as a major breakthrough in the ties between the two countries.
