The Pakistani Taliban faction Jamaat-ul-Ahrar has claimed responsibility for the suicide bombing at a hospital in Quetta city in southwestern Pakistan on Monday. Hospital officials say at least 70 people were killed and more than 100 wounded, and many of the victims were lawyers and journalists. Jamaat-ul-Ahrar has vowed to carry out more attacks. The group was also behind the Easter Day bombing in the eastern city of Lahore in March that killed 72 people.
