Pakistan’s catch-22: World’s largest and longest-running refugee crisis

According to the United Nations, 1.5 million registered Afghan refugees are living in Pakistan, who are part of one of the world’s largest and longest-running refugee crises. But after 30 years of hosting Afghans, many Pakistanis are growing frustrated with the toll and say the refugee population is taking on their country, and pressure is mounting on the government to take some implements. In recent days, several terrorist attacks in Pakistan have been linked to the refugees, allegedly being backed by the Afghan intelligence agency.
