Pakistan has one of the world’s youngest populations but 1 in 3 young people have not completed primary school. Apart from Nigeria, more children are out of school in Pakistan than anywhere in the world. In her village in rural Sindh, Aansoo would have suffered the same fate as many other children who start working in fields from as young as five. But her disability prevented her from taking to the fields to work. Despite critics, Aansoo completed her education. Today, she runs a school.
