Palestinian, Israeli economies suffer from conflict

When times are peaceful, the Israeli and Palestinian tourism industries bring in a combined average of 5 billion dollars per year. But October has been a bad month. Dozens of Palestinians and Israelis have been killed in violence, and locals fear that if the situation does not quiet down soon, a recession may be in store. CCTV’s Stephanie Freid visited Jerusalem’s old city — a prime tourism draw, and has this report.
