Paralympic table tennis player, who lost her leg in 2008 Wenchuan Earthquake, tells her story

The Chinese Paralympic team is back from Rio de Janeiro after winning a historic 107 gold medals. A member of the team is a woman named Wang Rui from southwest China’s Sichuan Province, who lost her leg during the deadly Wenchuan Earthquake in 2008. She stayed at home for one year after that, depressed, until the province’s table tennis coach Zhou Zaixing found her and encouraged her to take up the sport. Despite coming home empty-handed from Rio, she told CCTVNEWS that she will not put down her paddles.
