China’s consulate general in Ho Chi Minh City has expressed condemnation over the incident that a Chinese citizen’s passport was defaced. A Chinese woman on Saturday found her passport scribbled with vulgar messages after the border agent handed it back at the Tan Son Nhat International Airport. China’s consulate general says the “offensive scribbling” on the passport was shameless and cowardly. Vietnam says it will look into the incident.
