“I donated canned tuna, bottled water, sanitary paper and clothes.I work for the medical team and have friends who are doctors.”
People even bought this supermarket empty for donation, as they were reminded that blankets, drinking water, canned food, first aid medicine, mattresses and clean clothes were the most needed.
The government opened multiple channels in cities like Quito for collection of funds and relief goods, which were transported right away to the victims along the country’s Pacific shore.
