Philippine government tells world not to interfere in Duterte’s drugs war

The Philippine foreign secretary is pushing back at criticism of President Rodrigo Duterte’s drug war, telling the United Nations not to interfere. International human rights groups say the government’s security forces are executing suspected drug users without the benefit of due process. Police statistics show about 3,000 people have been killed since Duterte took office in June. Police officers have killed one-third of the drug war’s victims.
