Philippine women groups protested outside the Japanese Embassy in Manila on Friday to commemorate the end of World War Two and International Memorial day of sex slaves. Protesters said they were alarmed over “Japan’s rising militarism.” The protest coincided with Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida’s official visit to the Philippines.
