Eighty-three original works by the Spanish artist, Pablo Picasso, are being displayed at Beijing’s Riverside Art Museum. The painting, “The Musketeer”, was created in 1964 and is the first time it has ever been exhibited to the public. The Picasso in China Art Exhibition also uses virtual reality technology to give a contemporary twist to the painter’s work. Visitors wear VR glasses and are submersed in a world populated by images from Picasso’s paintings, and can even have a go at painting for themselves.
