Police: this new suspect bought explosive for Bangkok blast

A Thai court on Wednesday approved an arrest warrant for a new suspect in the Bangkok bombings last month, bringing the total number of arrest warrants issued in connection with the incidents to 14.

Thai police said that the new suspect is an unidentified man with short hair, who seems to be in his 30s and could speak Thai.

Closed-circuit camera footage showed that the suspect bought bomb-making materials at a shop in Bangkok’s Klongton area, which were later seized at an apartment in the capital’s Nong Chok District.
