Post-Brexit Britain: Theresa May concedes parliament debate on Brexit

UK Prime Minister Theresa May said on Tuesday that parliament will have the right to debate the government’s plans to leave the European Union, giving lawmakers a greater say in the Brexit process. However, May has not promised to allow MPs a formal vote on the government’s negotiating strategy. Opposition parties challenged May to answer numerous questions on Brexit in the House of Commons on Wednesday.
