Kings XI Punjab co-owner Preity Zinta today dismissed the report which claimed that the actress had told BCCI officials that some of the players of his team could be involved in suspicious activities like throwing matches. In a series of tweets, Preity said that she only suggested polygraph test on players so no player would indulge in match fixing. “I suggested RANDOM POLYGRAPH ( LIE DETECTOR) Tests to BCCI for players so no can even think about match fixing,” she tweeted. “A constructive conversation to genuinely make a difference to the game is turned into a destructive article for sensational purpose,” Preity added. Preity also issued a statement stating that she is proud of her team. “I am very proud to be part of KXIP?We have the best team & support staff & under No circumstance will I tolerate slander towards me or my team, specially when it comes to our Integrity,” the statement added.
