Chinese Premier Li Keqiang is on an official visit to Cuba, the first trip to the country by a Chinese premier since the two nations established diplomatic relations in 1960. China is Cuba’s second-largest trading partner. The two countries exchanged 2.2 billion US dollars’ worth of goods in 2015, and are now set to sign nearly 30 intergovernmental agreements and business contracts.
