Probe Against DDCA Scam To Begin | Gopal Subramaniam Writes To Arvind Kejriwal

Former Solicitor General Gopal Subramaniam has written a letter to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, informing him about the beginning of probe in the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) corruption case. The Delhi Government had constituted one member commission of inquiry to probe into the alleged irregularities in the DDCA case. The letter also reportedly says that prima facie, all consent necessary for the probe to begin has been obtained. Earlier, Lieutenant General Najeeb Jung had reservations against the probe. Kejriwal had alleged corruption and embezzlement by Jaitley during his tenure as chief of the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA), especially in the renovation of the Ferozshah Kotla cricket stadium. The allegations had come after the CBI had conducted raids on Kejriwal’s principal secretary, Rajendra Kumar. Finance Minister Arun Jailtley has filed a criminal and a civil defamation case against Kejriwal and five other AAP leaders over the DDCA row.
