Probe to look into all aspects of violence Akhilesh Yadav

UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Monday (June 13) said the judicial inquiry into the Mathura incident will look into all aspects of violence that broke out during the anti-encroachment drive early this month and assured the families of the two slain police officers of all help. “I hope the judicial inquiry will look into all aspects of the incident…Whatever the Government can do (for the families of the slain cops), it will do. We will fully cooperate with their families,” he told reporters after meeting the families of the policemen killed in the incident in Mathura on June 2. Yadav urged the political parties not to politicise the issue, saying, “We don’t politicise it when such incidents happened in their states. “Action will be taken for any lapses which are found during the judicial inquiry,” the UP Chief Minister said. It is “unfortunate” that such an incident happened in Mathura, he added.
