Promises Need to Be Met Says MS Dhoni on Amrapali Issue

Should celebrities be held liable for the products they endorse? Sources are telling TIMES NOW that a Parliamentary Committee has recommended changes in the Consumer Protection Bill which will do exactly that. The report has recommended stringent provisions to be made in the bill to tackle misleading advertisements and fix liability on endorsers and celebrities. This comes at a time when the Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni is facing the wrath of residents of a housing project for endorsing a brand that hasn’t lived up to its promises.
